A hornbill reaching for the skies as it takes flight, fanning it’s wings in great pride and assurance knowing that if it were to fall, there would always be support. That is the story Zephyr as a sculpture, tells and reinforces.

 

This is told in a transformative and explosive manner, visualizing and showing how the stability and the firm structure slowly develops and supports the free bird into greater heights. Zephyr thus introduces and plays with the contrast and transition of the beauty of freedom along with the safety of insurance. This is displayed by the beauty and expressiveness of the two main forms that can be seen from the design.
