Green Strategies & Building Design

Back to Sem 5

Passive Green Building Design Case Study

For this assignment, we were required us to do a analysis on case studies of buildings from different climates to better understand and compare the two buildings and how they passively design to cater to different contexts.

With this my group and I focused on comparing the buildings throughout our analytical case study on two buildings from two different climate types to study and compare the differences between the types of green building design strategies applied to respond to their respective climates. In alignment with out studio V projects as well we wanted to better understand urban blocks. Where we chose Pixel Building designed by studio505 in Melbourne, Australia & Tony Fruit Office designed by TAA Design in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
